I was flying to Japan and I had the aisle seat closest to the bathrooms. A Japanese girl from Vegas who had to fly into Portland to fly out to Tokyo sat next to and was obviously interested in me. As the flight took off and found it's cruising altitude we continued to talk while I tried my best to mute out all the constant bathroom door opening, bathroom door closing, locking, pooping and toilet flushing noises that were literally right across from where I sat. Two hours into the flight a Japanese man approached my seat and asked me, "Excuse me, sorry to bother you two but my father and I had reserved seats at the front of coach-class thinking there would be bathrooms there and well my father is really old and we were wondering if you wouldn't mind switching us seats?" I then looked away from the man after he had finished talking and to my flight companion who then asked the Japanese man, "Both of us?" He nodded. We both smiled, gathered our things and moved to the absolute front of coach which in front of our new seats was the business class wall allowing three times the leg space than we had at our seats that were close to the bathrooms. To give you an idea of how much space, she (seated next to the window,) could get out of her seat at anytime and make her way around me without me even having to move. We began to talk more, about how she would be in Tokyo and how her and I should have drinks one night (a polite way of asking for sex,) and with that it seemed like I couldn't have started this trip off any better. After a few more hours into our flight a voice announced that we'd be landing in about an hour and then moments after the announcement the same Japanese man (who we had traded seats with,) approached me while I was in my seat. I looked up and to my right after being tapped on the shoulder, "I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate what you did for my father and I back there," he said and handed each of us a crisp twenty-dollar bill. "Please, please. No please..." He said while the Japanese girl reached to hand it back and while I folded mine in half before pocketing it. "Please, to show my appreciation, I owe you two so much. Thank you again." He said while then walking off and the girl placed the money in her purse.
While searching online before my 2002 trip to Japan for spots to skateboard in (while I'd be in Japan,) I had found photos of a set of ledges that I really wanted to skate over in Kasai (close to Tokyo Disneyland.) After arriving in Japan and once I had the time to venture out to Kasai I asked one of my Japanese girls to take me over there. We left fairly early in the day and ended up arriving at Kasai's station while the sun had then started going down. All I could gather from my previous research was that the ledges were in a park, so with that my girl and I began asking the taxi drivers lined up across the station's exit if they knew where the nearest park was, we found one that did, got in the taxi, left towards the park, arrived, my girl paid the taxi cost of 6,000yen which was about $50 dollars and we got out. I then, after leaving the taxi, ran towards the ledges, now dark, I took off my backpack carrying my cameras/camcorder, set my skateboard down and then approached the ledges. Once arriving at the ledges I found them to be rough, not waxed and with big sized chunks taken out of them. I then (after hit with disbelief,) remembered how the website (that featured the now ruined spot I stood in front of,) haden't been updated for years which I remembered finding strange. My girl then approached me and with her never-ending cheerfulness asked to film, I shook my head and showed her how destroyed the skate spot was. After that we left the spot, walked for about twenty minutes in order to find a convience store on the other side of the water (the spot had been at the park's waterfront), we bought beers , asked where we were and then called for a taxi which showed up to take us back to the train station. While in the taxi I realized that the meter was already at 8,000yen about $70 dollars and by the time we got back to the station it had gone up to over 10,000yen. As I reached into my backpack for my wallet my girl tried to stop me and told me something along the lines of her being able to write it off as some sort of business exspense and that it was alright, I again shook my head and while feeling guilty for the whole early evening paid the taxi driver with my own money. We then left the taxi, got on the train and made our way back to Tokyo. Now get this, here is the kicker, once we got back to her place it had been raining so I thought "Great! I would have probably just gone to Shibuya and drank outside Hachiko all night," and I swear, a week after I got back home I was watching MTV and they had Mariah Carey's Making the Video AND SHE WAS IN FUCKING SHIBUYA, AT HACHIKO, IN THE FUCKING RAIN FOR THAT ONE FUCKING EARLY EVENING WHILE I WAS AT FUCKING KASAI PAYING OUT OF MY DICK'S WALLET TO FUCKING TAKE A TAXI BACK FROM A BROKEN SKATE SPOT. And yeah I love how MTV's 'Making the video' had the whole date all superimposed and time of her fucking being in Shibuya (during the footage they showed on T.V.,), all rubbing in the fact that I had lost probably my only chance of ever being face to face with Mariah Carey's tan breasts.
At the family who has adopted me in Japan's house my older sister (who is so fucking hot, she looks 100% Japanese and like I'd give her a foot massage just to smell the couch afterwards, you know what I'm saying?) wasn't feeling so hot so I told her other sister (who I have sex with all the time,) that I was going to go on a midnight mission on my skateboard to find her flowers right? Well so I left our mansion, got on my skateboard and made my way through the city looking for flowers and I couldn't find any! Then around 2:00am I found this like closet size door leading to a slightly larger closet size door room with flowers in it! I could see all different kinds but there was a sign on the door that said "CLOSED" in English, then I looked down and like I don't rob people or anything but I checked to see if it was unlocked and it was and not only that but it was opened a crack so I took that as an invitation to go inside but you know, rather than go inside I just opened the door and peered into the dark room. In the back of the floral shop I could see another room with a light and someone watching TV, I called out excuse me in Japanese and this old Japanese man got up from where he had been sitting to see what was going on, I smiled as big as possible with a ton of money in my hands to show I came in peace, he then smiled back and I asked if I could buy all his expensive flowers, he got a bunch, asked me what I thought, I bought them all and it was only like 26.00 dollars, I then went back on my skateboard, got back to the mansion and everyone was of course still awake, here is the good part, I then put the flowers at the front of their house, I rang the intercom, they opened the door and the one sister asked if I had found flowers and I shook my head. So I get to the living room and the really really fine Japanese sister of mine was all you know looking good and as predicted the one sister had told her that the reason I had left was to find her flowers and so the really good looking sister was like "Joshu... arigatou." Sooooooooo sexily, if sexily is a word. I then asked her what for and she said that the thought of me looking for flowers for her made her feel better even though I couldn't find any at this hour, I then excused myself, went down the stairs to the ground floor, opened the door, got the huge thing of flowers, went back upstairs and they were like "................................................. ........................." followed by everyone crying.
